Gmail Exports Google Docs in Zip File
If you want to view your Google Documents offline without downloading Google Gears or using Gmail’s Offline mode, there now is an easier way.
Google has introduced a way of exporting your selected documents into a zipped file. Whatever the purpose, whether it’s storing to your hard disk or accessing it on multiple computers with no internet access, Google has customized its Apps for your own personal needs.
Click on the small drop box and select all of the Documents in your Google Docs Account. All the documents will be selected, not just the ones on your Docs homepage. You can alternatively choose to save the selected few.

The next step would be to right-click while the documents are selected and hit “Export”.

You will get a little pop up window where you can select the formatting of the documents.

The process would be ended off with a display of your download, along with a progress bar with the estimated time lapse. If you decide that it takes too long, go about your other tasks, and Google will send you an email when it’s ready.

The zip file however, would only be available for a limited time. To ensure that you receive it before it’s removed, download it within the next three days!
