A partnership between two big companies in the IT industry happens again!!! Google Application Engine (see “Rolling out Google Apps for Your Company’s IT Infrastructure“) has partnered with SalesForce, to come up with a new kind of system, dubbed a Cloud Relationship Management system. With this integration, Google Engine apps are allowed to read and write to Force.com vice versa.

With this strategic partnership, customers would only have to register on one site to use the features of the partner’s site. Welcome to Cloud Relationship Management.

As the dominators of the search engine market, this aggressive move by Google has created more awareness that they are ready to challenge Microsoft for a greater customer base through online applications.  With this move from Google, there will be more news in the days ahead along the lines of Cloud Relationship Management for sure!
